Domain Policy

1. Domain Registration

UncleBTech acts as a registrar for domain names through our partnerships with accredited registries. By registering a domain through us, you agree to comply with the policies of the relevant registry and ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers).

2. Domain Ownership

You are the legal owner of any domain name registered through UncleBTech, provided all fees are paid and terms are met. We act solely as the registrar and do not claim ownership of your domain names.

3. Registration Requirements

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Keep contact information current and up-to-date
• Respond to verification requests within specified timeframes
• Comply with registry-specific requirements and restrictions
• Pay all applicable fees on time

4. Domain Renewals

Domain renewals are your responsibility. We provide the following services:

• Automatic renewal reminders sent 60, 30, and 7 days before expiration
• Optional auto-renewal service (can be enabled/disabled anytime)
• Grace period of 30 days after expiration for most domains
• Redemption period with additional fees for expired domains

5. Domain Transfers

Transferring TO UncleBTech

• Domain must be unlocked at current registrar
• Valid authorization code (EPP code) required
• Domain must not be within 60 days of registration or previous transfer
• Transfer includes 1-year extension of registration period

Transferring FROM UncleBTech

• Account must be in good standing with no outstanding balances
• Authorization codes provided within 5 business days of request
• No transfer fees charged by UncleBTech
• Domain lock removed upon request

6. DNS Management

We provide free DNS hosting for all domains registered or transferred to UncleBTech. You have full control over DNS records including A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, and SRV records. Changes typically propagate within 24-48 hours globally.

7. WHOIS Privacy Protection

We offer WHOIS privacy protection for eligible domains at no additional cost. This service replaces your personal contact information in the public WHOIS database with our privacy service details, while ensuring you remain the legal owner of the domain.

8. Domain Disputes

Domain disputes are handled according to ICANN's Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy (UDRP). We will cooperate with legitimate dispute resolution proceedings and may suspend domains pending resolution of disputes involving trademark infringement or other legal issues.

9. Prohibited Uses

Domains registered through UncleBTech may not be used for:

• Illegal activities or content that violates applicable laws
• Trademark or copyright infringement
• Spam, phishing, or fraudulent activities
• Malware distribution or cybersecurity threats
• Activities that violate registry policies

10. Domain Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate domain services for:

• Non-payment of fees
• Violation of this policy or our Terms of Service
• Court orders or legal requirements
• Registry or ICANN directives
• Fraudulent registration information

11. Refund Policy

Domain registration fees are generally non-refundable due to registry policies. However, we may provide refunds in cases of technical errors, duplicate registrations, or within 5 days of registration if the domain has not been used and no third-party costs have been incurred.

12. Registry-Specific Policies

Different domain extensions (.com, .uk, .org, etc.) may have specific requirements and restrictions imposed by their respective registries. You agree to comply with all applicable registry policies, which are incorporated by reference into this policy.
